1. Confirm every product has stable, crawlable facts

Each product page should expose a stable title, canonical URL, price, currency, availability, image, description, SKU, brand, and variant information. Do not make essential product facts available only after a browser-only interaction.

Test several products, not just the homepage. Catalog quality is usually limited by the weakest product template or app integration.

2. Validate Product and Offer structured data

Inspect the page source for Product JSON-LD. Confirm the Offer information matches what a shopper can actually buy, including currency, price, availability, and URL.

For variable products, make sure the structured data and visible page do not disagree about the selected variant.

3. Make policies easy to locate

Shipping, returns, delivery timing, contact information, and geographic restrictions should be reachable through ordinary links and written in direct language. A shopping system cannot confidently recommend an item when the fulfillment terms are ambiguous.

4. Check feed consistency

If you use a merchant feed, compare a sample of feed records with live product pages. Price, stock, identifiers, URLs, and variant attributes must stay synchronized.

5. Run a repeatable audit

Record the exact evidence for every failed check. A useful readiness score should lead to a fix, not merely produce a number.
