## Free scanner

The scanner evaluates pasted public product-page HTML in the browser. It checks whether Product and Offer structured data, price, currency, availability, identifiers, canonical URLs, visible headings, descriptions, and obvious shipping or return links are present and parseable. It does not prove selected-variant state, visible-versus-structured consistency, feed or checkout agreement, policy-text consistency, HTTP status, robots directives, or rendered JavaScript behavior. URL retrieval is best effort and may use a third-party CORS retrieval service; pasted HTML is the preferred mode.

## Developer CLI and GitHub Action

The CLI checks field presence, JSON-LD parseability, identifiers, Offer fields, canonical signals, headings, descriptions, and obvious policy links. It can output JSON, Markdown, or text and enforce a minimum score in CI. It does not prove selected-variant state, visible-versus-structured consistency, feed or checkout agreement, rendered JavaScript, live HTTP status, or cross-page policy consistency.

## Founding audit

Initial price: USD 49.
Initial scope: up to 15 public product URLs or one representative catalog sample.
Deliverable: affected URL, observed evidence, expected value, priority, recommended repair, and verification checklist.
Commercial process: scope is confirmed before payment. No card data is collected on the CommerceLint site.

## Important limitations

CommerceLint provides technical diagnostics. It does not guarantee indexing, inclusion in an AI product surface, recommendations, purchases, traffic, rankings, or revenue. Findings must be validated against the live storefront and the current requirements of relevant platforms.

## Data handling

Pasted HTML is analyzed locally in the browser. Optional production analytics load only after the visitor grants consent. Audit requests use the visitor's email client and are not sent until the visitor reviews and sends the prepared message.
