Anjali privacy policy

The short version

Anjali does not require an account and does not send personal data to the developer. It has no developer-operated backend, analytics, advertising, tracking, third-party SDKs, or purchases. Prayer content is bundled with the app and works offline.

Information stored on your device

Anjali stores only the information needed to remember your experience:

• script and prayer-mode preferences;
• your chosen ishta devata and favorite moments;
• saved prayers and completed-prayer activity; and
• whether optional reminders are enabled.

Preferences are stored in the app's local settings, while saved and completed prayers use Apple's on-device SwiftData storage. The developer cannot view this information.

Notifications

If you enable a dawn, sunset, or sleep reminder, Anjali asks for notification permission and schedules the reminder locally through iOS. It does not use a push-notification server. You can disable reminders in Anjali or revoke permission in iOS Settings.

Permissions and third parties

Anjali does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo-library access. It contains no analytics, advertising, attribution, or crash-reporting SDK.

Deletion

Anjali has no remote account or server-side record to delete. Deleting the app removes its active local app data from the device. Apple-managed device backups, if enabled, are governed by Apple and your device settings.

Changes

If Anjali's data practices change, this policy and its App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed behavior is released.
