Mala privacy policy

The short version

Mala is a local-first repetition-practice app. It has no account, ads, analytics, tracking, third-party SDKs, or developer-operated network service.

Information stored on your device

Mala stores the practice labels you create, your preferences, an in-progress practice, and practice history in the app's local storage. This information is used only to provide the app's features and is not sent to the developer.

Your choices

You can delete individual history entries, clear all history, and delete custom labels inside the app. Deleting the app removes its active local app data from the device. Apple-managed device backups, if enabled, are governed by Apple and your device settings.

Permissions and purchases

Mala does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photo-library access. Version 1 has no purchase flow.

Changes

If Mala's data practices change, this policy and its App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed behavior is released.
