Evidence hierarchy
- Exact manufacturer dimensional drawing and installation manual.
- Written manufacturer or authorized-merchant confirmation naming both exact models.
- Retailer fit guide with dimensions and explicit limitations.
- Public customer reports used only as leads or edge-case warnings, not copied as fact.
- BidetFit analysis that combines measurements and labels uncertainty.
What BidetFit does not claim
- No product has been purchased, installed, handled, or physically tested by BidetFit unless a future page explicitly documents that event.
- A green checker result is not a guaranteed exact-model fit.
- Fit guidance is not plumbing, electrical, building-code, accessibility, or medical advice.
- Merchant claims are not independently certified merely because they are cited.
How corrections work
When a model changes, a source conflicts, or an error is found, the affected page should record an update date, correct the claim, and preserve the reason in the public project changelog. Model-level compatibility entries will eventually include source URL, evidence type, date checked, and confidence.
Commercial independence
Affiliate approval does not determine compatibility. A product without a paying program can still be the correct answer; a high-commission product can still fail the fit screen. Commercial links, when activated, will be labeled and logged.
